Greetings OpenShifters,

Today we published an important blog post about the recent vulnerability in OpenSSL known as Poodle. Some users may find that rhc client tools have stopped working and need to be updated.

rhc Client Tools Users Should Update Immediately

From a command line, issue the following:
$ gem update rhc httpclient
Possible Side Affects

Our operations team proactively fixed Poodle for customer applications presently hosted on OpenShift Online. It's possible some users will run into connection errors. This is particularly true for older browsers like IE6 on Windows XP and older.

Thank you,

The OpenShift Team
