Red Hat and Microsoft Simplify Containers to Help Enterprises Accelerate to the Hybrid Cloud
Red Hat & Microsoft Alliance
Microsoft and Red Hat recently announced an expansion of the two companies’ alliance with plans for new initiatives aimed at enabling enterprises to more easily adopt containers. This includes native support for Windows Server containers on OpenShift, OpenShift Dedicated on Microsoft Azure, and SQL Server on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and OpenShift.
 
Announcing the OpenShift Container Platform 3.6 GA
Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform: Enterprise Kubernetes platform adds new container security and compliance features, extends consistent applications and services across multi-cloud deployments.
Some highlights of this release of OpenShift Container Platform include enterprise-grade security and compliance, open service broker implementation and advancing container-level and Kubernetes innovation.
 
Migrate to OpenShift Online 3 by September 30, 2017
Next Gen OpenShift Online: Build, deploy, host & scale container-based applications
Our new OpenShift Online Next Generation offerings, Red Hat OpenShift Online Starter and Pro, launched in May and July respectively. On August 25th, we announced the sunset of OpenShift Online based on OpenShift v2. If you're using the previous generation OpenShift Online 2 platform, you can find step-by-step instructions in our Migration Center to migrate your applications to the OpenShift Online 3 platform.
